Carol Jepson (Mambo) – Bia Series

Bia was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology. The daughter of Pallas and Styx, Bia was the personification of force, a characteristic associated with many women across the globe. This piece is dedicated to such women. The art was born out of spontaneous lines incorporating various patterns and textures to highlight depth as well as beauty. This NFT series represents female empowerment, portrayed by line art and contemporary colours. There are four pieces to collect in this series, each is unique with its own colour-coordinated palette.

Jabbar Muhammad – Eve 4.17 (2016|21)

This digital image is based on my watercolor work from eve series. The eve series of paintings explore issues beyond the body alone and could be considered existential. I got interest in Carl Jung’s school of analytical psychology, which highlights a dual concept of feminine inner personality in the unconscious mind of a man and a masculine inner personality in the unconscious mind of a woman. The interpretations process is taken through direct observation during dialogue with model. I try to understand alter perceptions through the dipiction of several angle.

Spartan Beetles II

This piece is part of my collection “Spartan Beetles,” which shows photos of VW cars in various places in Thailand. This project came from a passion for the curvy shape and simplicity of VW vehicles.

In the 1970s, The beetle is already cemented in history textbooks as an icon of the time. Still, you may not know that it has donated its propulsion mechanism to an actual working horse in the developing world.

This piece combines photography and visual effects to tell deeper feelings between the car and the places around me in my hometown.

I took this photo in 2014 at Wat Phra Kaew, Bangkok, Thailand, and I did the video editing in September 2021. 2nd in my Spartan Beetles Collection.
