IJWBAA – IJWBAA-V-1

I drew my inspiration as references to create iJWBAA from great old masters like Rothko, Venus de Milo, and Giacometti.

What do these old master’s arts look like if they are combined together? And what if they evolved and got into a digital art form?

And for me, evolving IJWBAA from traditional art to digital art as an NFT form and yet preserving its identity, I discovered more than what I was seeking.

After more than 190 years, Katsushika Hokusai’s ukiyo-e prints and the world-famous mouse have come together. This is a playful series that welcomes the earliest works of that mouse, which became public domain on January 1, 2024, and mixes them with representative works by Hokusai, one of Japan’s most famous artists from around the world.

Titipun Tubthong – The Transmigration

The art is called “Transmigration” and it is inspired by the iconic figure of the Vitruvian Man, created by the master artist Leonardo da Vinci. This art piece explores the concept of the cycle of life, also known as sang-sara-watta in Buddhism, which refers to the idea that all living beings are constantly reborn and that nothing is permanent.

Through this art, we are reminded that life is a journey and that we are all temporary inhabitants of this world. We are born, we grow, we age, and eventually we pass on. But this cycle of life continues, and we are all connected in this great dance of existence.

This art captures the beauty and impermanence of life, and invites us to embrace each moment and make the most of the time we have. It is a tribute to the unending cycle of life and a reminder that we are all a part of something much larger and more enduring than ourselves.

こちらも【フルーティー・ガール】と同時期、コピックマーカーでの着色を始めた頃に描いた作品です。

レトロチックな部屋でまったりと休日を自分らしく過ごす女の子。

背景を描く際、マーカーでどの程度の質感が出せるかを実験的に紙面でブレンドしながら着彩を行いました。

hiromilight24 – A Man in the Presence of Stonehenge

This digital artwork depicts a man from the near future or another planet visiting modern Earth. It features the contrast between his futuristic numbered clothing and the ancient ruins of Stonehenge, where he stands gazing at the landscape bathed in the hues of sunset.

Amidst his busy schedule, he takes a moment to contemplate the vast and storied history of the plain before him, reflecting on the journey of humankind.
