About: Harakorn

He is tough on the outside and squishy on the inside. Harakorn is similar to a circle with a beginning and an end. He always starts off as the toughest of the tough, and ends up likewise, but in the middle, Harakorn is as smooth as a rock bathing in waves for millenia. When you meet Harakorn you might be frightened by his stern look and his direct attitudes in conversation, but once the ice is broken (which he gladly does himself, and also mostly does when he time and time again catches himself being a bit too intimidating when meeting new ROOMIES) a conversation of the most delicious kind ensues. Harakorn is honest to the bone, and also humble and kind, making him like a dream to be around. Conversations can go on for hours, back and forth between subjects, but always with a comfortable throughline keeping the whole interaction together. When the conversation is done though, it is as though Harakorn abruptly changes face and becomes the stern block of granite he was before the conversation properly started. Why this is might be due to Harakorns insatiable hunger for stimulating and close knitted company, something that is a rarity when meeting new people. Why should he open up to the extent that he does, when others don’t repay the favor? A sort of defence mechanism one might say. But time and time again the world proves for Harakorn that honesty is loved and cherished, and only rarely will someone actually miss use the trust that is given. But one might be enough. Harakorn has made that mistake once, and never again.

About: Taren

A memory can be the most wonderful thing. Some argue that the only thing we have are memories. That even this exact moment is but a memory separating reality from mind by fractions of seconds. Whether one agrees or not, Taren lives a double life with his memories. He has had an upbringing with no parents, and really no one to look up to except the immediate conditions surrounding him, guiding him to make meaningful decisions based upon his instincts. Over time he has managed to be as present in the moment as he can be. This is where he belongs, and where he is happy. This is where he can be away from his mind by creating new memories instant after instant. But as all of us know, the mind can wander. When Tarens mind wanders he shudders. His environment closes around him. Like an old adversary the memories take over his mind just for a moment. It is not the memories themselves that have this effect on Taren, but the act itself of locating from the storage of the mind. Only experience allows Taren to recognize what is happening to him whenever his mind tries to wander. Being adept at playing mind games with himself he hurriedly focuses outward to the beauty of the world, the smells, sounds, sights and textures around him. His mind is again at rest. It was just a quick look over the edge, just like always and often. Not dangerous, but in need of keeping in check. This is how Taren lives his life. Always good and kind, giving peace to his surroundings. But like most of us, there is a war to be fought on the inside to keep the peace on the outside.

Being a ROOMIE with a fascination for magic from the olden days, Zinsen doesn’t occupy his mind with dazzling trickery and bravado, the bending of matter and space, or otherworldly conjuring spells. As a part of the star alliance, Urix flies across the universe with both purpose and a calm mind. As a guardian keeping the universal order intact he is everywhere at all times, making sure everything is as should be. His wrath is mighty when discovering discrepancies in the fabric of space, raining hellfire upon the culprit and banishing him to places unimaginable to our four-dimentional minds. The universal order might seem extremely strict on first glance, but one can breathe a sigh of relief when realizing that there has never been a discrepancy discovered. About: Stella

Stella is a ROOMIE with a will of her own. She doesn’t take shit from anyone and walks confidently wherever she goes. She gives off a cold and calculated vibe and can be quite frightening to those that don’t know her, and even more frightening to those that do. Once she sets her mind to something she goes after it with full force, not stopping until she has gotten what she wants. She does indeed have many friends around her, even though they might not be what you and I would consider to be true friends. The only reason other ROOMIES identify as her friends is because they dare not do otherwise. Stella is perfectly content with this arrangement though. Friends are a means to an end just like everything else in life.

OPENING CEREMONY

Third in a collection of 7 NFTs, reception for the public art piece ‘Fénix Ometeotl’ commenced with the Nahuatl ritual ‘Mazehualiztli’ performed by two Mexican shamans, Ome Tochtly and Elian Cohuatzpali. The ceremony began at dusk during a full moon as both celestial bodies were present in the sky.

Celebrating the movements of Tōnatiuh and Metztli, Nahuatl sun and moon deities, Ome danced while Elian drummed with a Huehuetl percussion instrument; integrating in mathematical method the movements of the planets into cosmically attuned choreography and rhythm.

Half of auction sales will be donated to Centro Médico Mazunte, as well as royalties paid to Ome Tochtly and Elian Cohuatzpali.

benoit vidal – TV show 1987 has BTC logo and then gets lost !

The content of NFT was made from a video edited in 1987 where my father is interviewed in a museum where he exhibits his creations.
He worked hard every day between his family life and his art.
He was passionate about surfing and art.
He was a hippie, a peaceful activist and a thinker.
Unfortunately, he died while freediving in order to become stronger to surf in difficult conditions.
The records of this interview are lost and this is all that remains of him.
His death has meant a difficult life for our whole family.
We had few resources and as the commentator states in the interview, my mother worked to give my father the opportunity to practice his art.
My mother, my older brother and I suffered.
Today, we are grown up, we are nourished by his love, his passion for art.
Late in life I discovered the VHS tape of his interview. I had already invested about 50 euros in crypto-currency out of curiosity. When I discovered in this video that the logo of the show was BTC, I jumped on my seat. Could this be a message to extend the work of my father through the NFT community, the crypto community in general?
From a physical art, on metals, wood, real works of art questioning the symbolism in our lives, to a video on magnetic tape, to an exciting digital creation, then linked to the history of the blockchain and therefore potentially immortal?
I even imagined, insofar as this project would have a real impact, transforming my life, transforming the lives of others, by using a part of the sale of his NFT, to create a foundation to save nature and finance plans to clean up the oceans.
The French national archives have no record of this program. Neither do local archives.
I am both surprised and pleased. I can thus exploit this material at my leisure.
I’m taking small steps forward. This video carries a comic sense that deserves to be seen as a whole. I am discovering this field and I hope to make a project that will go down in history.

I called this work “Immortal Books”.
Today, in the 21st century, computer technologies are widely used. The products of the creative work of writers and authors are being digitized everywhere, applications with large online libraries are being created.
On the one hand, it helps writers to convey their creativity to people, to find their audience, on the other hand, it is convenient and saves time for readers. On the Internet, you can find and download a book that is not available in stores, you can easily read books in the original language.
Everything is being digitized and developed, it seems that books are becoming less relevant. Does it seem so or is it really so? A question that time will give you an answer to.
In my work, I depicted several old, dusty books lying on the shelves in the captain’s cabin of a pirate ship. Thick folios bring to descendants immortal knowledge, wisdom and truth, relevant at all times.
I know that books carry not only knowledge, but also evoke memories. There is a soul in books. Therefore, they are immortal.
